Alice M. Thomlinson, 89, of Kings Grant, died Jan. 20, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Homestead, Pa. Mrs. Thomlinson and her late husband, John MacDonald Thomlinson, were longtime residents of the Cradock section of Portsmouth, where they attended Cradock United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Cedarettes of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Portsmouth Forest (NU)143. In February 1995 she was honored as a 70-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Victory Chapter (NU)16.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald J. and Jean M. Thomlinson of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Dr. Brian K. Dill. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
