Emma Jean Booze McClelland, 50, died Jan. 20, 1996.
Mrs. McClelland was a native of Fincastle, Va., and was the daughter of the late Roy Gilbert and Elizabeth Cahoon Booze. She was the widow of Richard Marlin McClelland Sr. She was a member of Rock Church in Franklin.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah McClelland Grizzard of Capron, Va., and Denise Karen McClelland of Franklin; two sons, Richard Marlin McClelland Jr. of Richmond and Kenneth Dale McClelland of Franklin; three brothers, Roy Garland Booze of Arlington, Tenn., Herbert Henry Booze of Vinton, Va. and Cecil Dennis Booze of Houston, Va.; five grandchildren, Jonathan Richard McClelland, Elizabeth Ann McClelland, Devon Kasey McClelland-Reyes, Richard Marlin McClelland II and Alexandria Dale Grizzard; two aunts, Helen Brewbaker of Buchanan and Mary Peery of Troutville. Mrs. McClelland was predeceased by two sisters and a brother, Mary Virginia Booze Rock, Cleo Alene Booze Lugar and Claiborne Saunders Booze.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin by Rev. David Dillon. The burial will be at Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggest that memorials be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America Inc., 140 West 22nd St., Sixth Floor, New York, N.Y., 10011-2420.
