Ernestine Winfield, of the 2400 block of Azalea Garden Road, died Jan. 18, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Cliftina L. Winfield of Norfolk; a son, Clifton V. Winfield of Norfolk; five sisters, Brenda Edmonds of Hawaii, Patricia Harris of Norfolk, Sheila Dukes of Portsmouth, Minerva Sessoms of Virginia Beach, Angela Burke of Norfolk; two foster sisters, Imari Maelook of Norfolk, Darlene Hines of Portsmouth; five brothers, Patrick Harris, John Harris and Dewey Fanning, all of Virginia Beach, Chris Fanning and Jerry Fanning, both of Norfolk; godmother, Blanche Green of Norfolk; a special aunt, Mattie Wilso; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C. by Dr. G. Wesley Hardy. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
