Mr. Felipe N. Gungon, 82, died Jan. 22, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mr. Gungon, a retired accountant, worked for the Bureau of Economics Philippines Government. He was a native of the Philippines and a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Mercedes L. Gungon; two daughters, Bernie Deleon and Maria Juquiana, both of Virginia Beach; three sons, Bill Gungon of Maryland, Ramon Gungon of San Pablo, and Philip Gungon of Manila, Philippines; a sister, Nene Gungon of the Philippines; a brother, Benedicto Gungon of the Philippines; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
