Imogene ``Gene'' Forrest Taylor, age 70, died Jan. 21, 1996.
She was a life-long resident of Gloucester and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Bena. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Mark and his wife, Evelyn Taylor, of Norfolk, Kent Van and his wife, Laura Taylor, of Bena; mother, Mary Lillian Forrest of Hampton; four sisters, Owen Callis of Mathews, Marion Counts of Poquoson, Charlotte Spencer of Hampton and Mary Lou Wood of Newport News; a brother, Robert B. Forrest of Henrico, N.C.; and two granddaugthers, Michelle and Shirley Taylor of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service conducted by Rev. Michael D. Ward, of Falls Mills Christian Church, Falls Mills, Va., Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Rosewell Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, today from 7 to 8 p.m. Following the graveside service, the family will be gathering at their home, 8595 Blakes View Road, Hayes.
