A former teacher has filed for the Pasquotank County Board of Education's Outside City Limits seat.
Mary E. Sharpe, 64, of Salem township, on Monday became the second person to file for the seat being vacated by current School Board Chairman Marion Harris. F. ``Mark'' Small, 41, also of Salem, put in for the seat on Thursday.
Filing for the May 7 primary closes on Feb. 5.
