A story Sunday about the CFL in Hampton Roads should have stated
that Art Collins is administrator, not chairman, of the Sports
Authority of Hampton Roads. Also, the Sports Authority represents
eight local jurisdictions, not 14, that work to attract sports teams
and facilities.
School children who wish to send Valentine's Day cards to U.S.
military members deployed in Bosnia should write: No Greater Love
c/o Operation Joint Endeavor, APO AE 09391. The zip code was wrong
in an address provided Friday with a story on military mail to
Bosnia.
Text was missing from the end of two book reviews in Sunday's
Commentary section. Here is the missing type:
The review of ``The Rapture of Canaan'' concluded: ``This book is
a worthy successor (to the author's first novel, Bitterroot Landing)
- gracefully written and jeweled with insight into human nature.''
The review of ``The Tiger in the Grass: Stories and Other
Inventions'' concluded: ``Unfortunately, (author Harriet) Doerr does
not tell us what Eliza thought or felt as she stood there. The story
would have been better, the plot and characters more believable, if
she had.''
