Levi Porter, 82, of the 800 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Jan. 22, 1996.
He was retired and a native of Southampton County, Va.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Virginia Dixon of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Grandy, Mrs. Louise Coleman, both of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Ashley Dixon, both of Alexandria; two nieces, Clarius Dozier, Katherine Lankford, both of Norfolk; and brother-in-law, Joseph Grandy of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens.
