Mrs. Frances Ellen Gibbs Belote, 86, of Arlington, Va., formerly of Cape Charles, Va., died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, in Alexandria.
She was a native of Cape Charles, Va., and was the widow of the late Grover W. Belote. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Laura Richardson Gibbs and was a member of Cheriton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha B. Buhman of Arlington and Charlotte A. Seale of Brandywine, Md.; and two grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Seale.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cape Charles Cemetery by the Rev. Joe Strock. Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home is in charge. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to SPCA Animal Shelter, Onley, Va. 23418.
