BEATRICE B. PIERCE

Beatrice Brewer Pierce, of the 700 block of Marcus St., died Jan. 22, 1996, in her home.

Mrs. Pierce, a retired custodian, worked for the Chesapeake Public School System for 12 years. She was a native of Nashville, N.C., and a member of First Baptist Church, Crestwood, Chesapeake. She was a member of the Senior Choir.

Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Pierce; a daughter, Undine McGowan of Hampton; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Rosa Lee Davis of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Mary Dailey of Washington, D.C.; a special nephew, John L. Brewer of Chesapeake; and many other surviving relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Crestwood, by the Rev. Willie Samuel. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
