David Richard McKay, 44, of the 5700 block of Susquehanna Drive, died Jan. 23, 1996.
Mr. McKay, an electronics worker, was a native of Chelsea, Mass. He was an active disc golf player at Bayville Park in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his father, Richard W. McKay of Virginia Beach; a brother, Cmdr. Leonard W. McKay and sister-in-law, Elaine McKay, of Omaha, Neb.; two nieces, Evie E. McKay and Cynthia R. McKay, both of Omaha; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriett V. McKay.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Mark Bender. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
