Liberty Virginia Clausen Flatten, 93, of Conway Drive, died Jan. 24, 1996, in her residence.
She was a native of Princess Anne County, Va., and a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. She was a former member of Order of the Eastern Star in Virginia Beach.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Altman of Williamsburg; stepdaughter, Janine Tusko of Akron, Ohio; stepson, Hubert Flatten of Tallmadge, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, John Ernest Clausen Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Lucille Dorband in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
