Willy Naar Sr., 51, of the 300 block of Willow Bend Court, died Jan. 23, 1996.
He was a native of Port au Prince, Haiti, an installer with Virginia Storage Systems Inc., and a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marie C. Naar; three daughters, Soraya Naar of Port au Prince, Sandra Naar-Mitchell of Huntington, W.Va., and Tanisha Naar of Chesapeake; two sons, Vladimir Naar of Miami, Fla., Willy Naar Jr. of Chesapeake; four sisters, Madeline Naar of Port au Prince, Rose Mary Naar and Gladys Romaine both of Laurel, Md., Jacqueline Pierre of Queens, N.Y.; four brothers, Daniel Naar of Alkrdeen, N.J., Jean Naar of East Orange, N.J., Joseph Naar of Miramar, Fla., Jerrad Naar of Port au Prince; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Ernest W. Myers on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m., where the family will receive friends until service time.
