Earline Lovey Bacon, of the 6100 block of Ball Ave., died Jan. 25, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Bacon, the widow of Roger M. Bacon, was a retired beautician and organist. She was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and a member of Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cecilia Hamlin of Norfolk, M. Frances Bacon of Chesapeake; a sister, Sarah R. Griffin of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church by the Rev. Thomas Tucker. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. There will be a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
