Durwood W. Davis, 71, died Jan. 25, 1996.
A native of Conway, N.C. He was a veteran of World War II, retired from NASA, a member of American Legion Post No. 25 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1119.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; two sons; three daughters; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Leslie Wilkins Davis of Norfolk; one uncle, Henry Britton of Willieston, Fla.
A funeral service was held Friday night.
