Sen. Frederick M. Quayle, whose 13th Senate District includes Suffolk, has been assigned to four standing Senate committees. He will chair two standing subcommittees.
He will retain seats on Courts of Justice, Local Government and Transportation, and he was newly assigned to Education and Health.
The Local Government committee deals with all matters concerning Virginia municipalities. Quayle will chair its subcommittee on charters and the Education and Health subcommittee on Higher Education.
