Lucille Wright Eberwine, 91, died Jan. 27, 1996, in Obici Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late William T. Wright and Bessie Johnson. She was a native of Nansemond County and she was the widow of F. Bruce Eberwine. She was a graduate of Longwood College and she had taught in the Suffolk School System. She was a member Beach Grove United Methodist Church, the Driver Book Club and a member of the Bennett's Creek Volunteer Rescue Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, F. Bruce Eberwine Jr. and John W. Eberwine, both of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. William BrisBois of Hampton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by Rev. Garland K. Hines and the Rev. Richard Browder. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Beach Grove United Methodist Church, 4245 Driver Lane, Suffolk 23435, or the Bennett's Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad.
