Helen Elizabeth Topping, 71, formerly of the 5400 block of Tidewater Drive, died Wednesday Jan. 24, 1996, in DePaul Medical Center.
She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Lindwood and Quessie Ashley Shepherd. She was a former member of Second Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas F. Topping; a son, Daniel F. Topping; and a sister, Evelyn Minnix.
The funeral will be at noon Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will be at 7464 Rosefield Drive, the home of Betty White.
