The Virginian-Pilot and all its staff did an excellent job getting the paper out during the snowstorm. They are to be commended.
But let's not forget the real heros for getting the paper to us. Our paper carriers were wonderful to get out in that weather and do the job they did. My paper was on the doorstep as usual, at its usual time.
I hope everyone gave their carriers an added bonus when they came to collect for the paper. They surely deserve it.
