Edna B. Watkins, 64, of Virginia Beach, beloved wife of Ronald P. Watkins, passed on to God Jan. 27, 1996, at Sentara Bayside Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Watkins was a native of Washington, D.C. and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving family; her husband, Ronald P. Watkins; her son, David P. Watkins of Franklin, Va.; her daughter, Rhonda Cole of Virginia Beach; her sister and brother, Helen M. Avallone of Fort Washington, Md. and Frank J. Rezac III of Glen Burnie, Md.; and her five grandchildren, Cybil Watkins, Jeffery Watkins and Phillip Watkins of Franklin, Va. and Jennifer Cole and Matthew Cole of Virginia Beach.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Pastor Kenneth R. Carbaugh. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. to receive friends.
The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation, the American Heart Association, or to the American Diabetes Association, in lieu of flowers. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
