Lenora R. Faison, 96, of the 600 block of Nelson St., died Jan. 27, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Faison was born in Seaboard, N.C., and was the widow of James Faison. She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Richmond and a member of the choir.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn C. Thomas of Portsmouth; two sisters, Jessie V. Faison of Portsmouth and Lucille Demory of Seaboard, N.C.; a brother, Wilkins Bynum of Suffolk; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 28 R St., Richmond, by the Rev. Smith. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond. Viewing will be at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, today from 11 a.m. until the body is taken to O.P. Chiles Funeral Home in Richmond.
