JUNE B. ELLIOTT

June Browning Elliott, 64, of 1945 Tucker Road, died suddenly Jan. 27, 1996, in Danville Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Nov. 17, 1931, in Lexington, Ky., to the late Ollie and Ella McKinney Browning. Mrs. Elliott had lived most of her live in the Virginia Beach area where she had retired from the Department of Commerce as a procurement agent before moving to Gretna in 1993.

She was a member of the Avalon Church of Christ in Virginia Beach. On June 9, 1952, she married the late Carl V. Tate, who died on June, 4, 1980. On March 6, 1993, she married Donald Henry Elliott, of the home, who survives.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Sue T. Doughty of Bassett, Va., and Carla T. Doughty of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Faye B. Seevers of Lexington, Frances B. Lorenz of Jacksonville, Fla., and Martha B. Mitchell of Georgetown, Ky.; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Allan Mitchell Tate.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Wrenn-Yeatts West-over Chapel by Minister Creigton Beatty. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1945 Tucker Road, Gretna, Va.
