JAMES A. FOY JR.

James Augustus Foy Jr., of the 3800 block of Giles Circle, died Jan. 26, 1996, in a local hospital.

He was retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility and was a native of Norfolk. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Foy; three daughters, Maroncia Lumdsen and Diane Rodgers of Norfolk and Doris Rocher of New York City; two sisters, Louise Harrell of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Annie Duke of Norfolk; two brothers, George Foy of Norfolk and Clarence Foy of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. James Edwards III in Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
