Brother George Daniel Hickman, 83, of the 3800 block of Nansemond Circle, died Jan. 29, 1996, in his residence.
He was a retired electrician for I.B.E.W. Union Local (NU)80. He was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and was one of the oldest living members of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local (NU)80.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia H. Kidder of Chesapeake; granddaughter, Holly Marie Kidder of Norfolk; grandson, Kenneth Milton Kidder of Virginia Beach; great-granddaughter, Amanda Kidder of Virginia Beach; and son-in-law, Milton E. Kidder of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. David Libengood in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, today form 7 to 8 p.m. and at 417 Oaklette Drive, Chesapeake, at all other times.
