Catherine H. Brimley, 73, of the first block of Grove St., died Jan. 28, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a native of Portsmouth and a member of Noble Street Baptist Church where she belonged to the Christian Endeavors League and was a pastor's aid. She was a retired beautician.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Brimley; son, Percy Harris; brother, Larry Harris; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Ronnie T. Northam Sr. in Noble Street Baptist Church. Burial is in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
