Mrs. Charlotte C. Daughtry, 86, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996.
She was a retired interior designer. A native of Portsmouth, she had been a Hampton resident for 30 years. Mrs. Daughtry was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and served as a Girl Scout leader, church librarian and Missionary Group (NU)5 leader. She was a member of Rachel Tent (NU)8 and a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School and Shaw University.
Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Willia E. Daughtry of Hampton and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Roosevelt Memorial Park by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer Sr. Family will assemble at 45 Kings Point Drive by 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Viewing will be noon to 7 p.m. today at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home.
