Mary Legacy, 88, of the 4100 block of Windsor Gate Place, was called to be with the Lord on Jan. 27, 1996. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Frances B. Putnam, Dorothy B. Harris, and Judy Turner, of Virginia Beach; her son, James Legacy of South Carolina; her sisters, Della Henderson and Catherine Massie of Norfolk; her grandchildren, Bill Walls, Ronnie Walls, Barabara Jenkins and Rene Bateman, of Virginia Beach, Joseph Walls of Chesapeake, Manuel Garcia III and Sheila Legacy of Florida, Michael Garcia and Gina Garcia of California; her 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
