Olivia Ann Pressnell Croom, 54, of the 900 block of West Stokes St., died Jan. 30, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Croom, a former registered nurse, was a native of Greenville, S.C. She was a member of Ahoskie First Baptist Church. Mrs. Croom was a graduate of the School of Nursing South Carolina Baptist Hospital, Columbia, S.C.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Dr. Jesse J. Croom; two daughters, Cara Lynn Croom of Raleigh, N.C., Andrea Dale Croom of Currituck, N.C.; a son, Kevin J. Croom of Aulander, N.C.; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ahoskie First Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronald W. McSwain and the Rev. Dr. Thomas M. Freeman. Private interment services will be held in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. Family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
