NO CIRCUS

Recent advertisements for the circus have bothered me very much. I told my parents I do not want to see the circus because now I know that circus animals have a very hard life. They spend many of their days traveling with little food or water in uncomfortable train cars. During training, they may be whipped or beaten. Bears have even had their noses broken.

It makes me sad to see elephants standing on their heads or tigers jumping through rings of fire because I think they would rather be running through the jungle or sleeping in the grass.

My family and I will not be going to the circus, and I would like others to consider not going either.
