JAMES H. FELTON

James Henry Felton, 86, a retired buyer and seller of lumber, died Jan. 31, 1996.

He was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Cornelia Carter Felton and was a lifelong resident of the Suffolk area. Mr. Felton was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Suffolk Christian Church. He was a member of Nansemond Masonic Lodge (NU)77 A.F. & A.M., Portsmouth Scottish Rite, Khedive Temple and Suffolk Shrine Club.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Belle Felton; a niece, Betty Beard; and several other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery by Dr. Bruce A. Havens. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Suffolk Christian Church Building Fund, 216 N. Main Street, Suffolk, Va. 23434. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
