Dorothy Stublen Bell, 85, of the 1300 block of Portlock Road, died Jan. 30, 1996, in Suffolk.
Mrs. Bell, the widow of John W. Bell, was a native of Emporia, Va. She was the daughter of the late William P. Stublen and Carrie Livesay Stublen. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Mrs. Catherine Stublen Simmons and Mrs. Elizabeth Stublen Joyce; and three brothers, John P. Stublen, Clifton S. Stublen and William S. Stublen.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Rivers B. Stublen of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Richard Liverman. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, is in charge.
