Lena Sessoms Pulley, 86, of the 600 block of Lummis Road, died Jan. 30, 1996, in Obici Hospital.
She was a native of Tarboro, N.C., and worked as a homemaker. She was the widow of Joseph Lester Pulley and a member of Pender Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Tarboro, N.C. She was also a member of Box Elder Home Demonstration Club. She was the daughter of the late George T. and Lena S. Sessoms.
She is survived by her son, Frank C. Pulley Sr.; three sisters, Bessie S. Winchester and Mary S. Manning of Tarboro, and Ruby S. Pearce of Newport News; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Herschel Hill in Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Somerton Friends Meeting Cemetery.
