Police arrested two Norfolk men this week in connection with two separate murder cases, police spokesman Larry Hill said.
One man was charged Tuesday afternoon with fatally stabbing 39-year-old Jetson G. Jones, whose body was found in a Park Place apartment on Jan. 22, police said.
James L. Fisher, 43, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. in the 11000 block of Occohannock Neck Road in Exmore, Va. Norfolk police homicide investigators, the Exmore chief of police and Northampton County deputies assisted in his capture, Hill said. He was brought back to Norfolk where he was charged.
Fisher and Jones both lived in the 800 block of W. 36th Street, where Jones was killed.
Wednesday afternoon Jesovha O. Seaborn, 24, was arrested at his girlfriend's home in the 400 block of E. Brambleton Ave. in connection with the slaying of Frankie Johnson in December.
Police arrested the man without incident just after 2:30 p.m. after received a Crime Line tip, Hill said. He was taken to the Police Operations Center, where he was charged with murder and use of a firearm in a felony.
