Crew members of the Yellowstone had some protection against the
elements Wednesday during decommissioning ceremonies.
Having just left their ship for the last time, crew members of the
destroyer tender Yellowstone line up alongside her on Norfolk Naval
Station's Pier 12. The weather shared their sadness as windblown
rain turned icy and observers huddled in tents.
