SUNDAY
They play it all: folk, blues, swing and rock. They play everything: steel drums, hammered dulcimer, banjo, guitars and spoons. They even yodel and do cowgirl rope tricks. Maybe that's why Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer have been so popular with kids of all ages for 15 years. Hear for yourself Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Tidewater, 7300 Newport Ave., Norfolk. Tickets are $6; call 489-1371.

TUESDAY
You could hardly ask for more in a mystery than an original plot, complex characters, style and atmosphere. ``The Usual Suspects,'' arriving on video Tuesday, has it all - in spades. Plus a top-flight cast that includes Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Stephen Baldwin, Chazz Palminteri and Kevin Pollak. Even the critics were unanimous in their praise, and they hardly ever agree.

MONDAY
Cypress Hill made enemies, then a sort of peace, with Courtney Love on last year's Lollapalooza tour. Their ``Cypress Hill III (Temples of Boom)'' album followed its predecessors to best-seller status. And the California rap trio, one of the '90s' most consistently popular hip-hop acts, returns to Hampton Roads for a show at 7 p.m. Monday at the Boathouse. Opening are ``alternative'' rap acts 311 and the Pharcyde. Tickets: $22.50 advance; to order, call 671-8100.
