I am tired of opening my paper every day and seeing more headlines about Hillary Clinton. Those of us who lived through the McCarthy period remember that the more questions answered, the more questions asked - not to seek the truth, but to seek headlines. Nothing satisfied McCarthy's committee, and nothing will satisfy this one.
The attacks on Hillary are a witch hunt, pure and simple. This is merely a diversion to keep our minds off the real problems facing us and a way to get at President Clinton. If Mrs. Clinton is guilty of any crimes, prosecute her; if not, stop persecuting her.
If the members of the congressional committee, with its high moral and legal tone, were to adhere to the biblical injunction ``Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone,'' there would be no committee or investigation in the first place.
