CHURCH DAMAGED IN ARSON

Fire investigators said Wednesday that an arsonist's blaze heavily damaged Woodland Heights Baptist Church just before midnight Tuesday.

Fire investigator Greg Orfield said the building in the 500 block of Providence Road sustained as much as $150,000 damage, mainly to the church's east wing. No one was hurt.

Fire investigators ask anyone with information to call 487-1234.
