People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals still hopes to move its headquarters from Rockville, Md., to Norfolk, but the closing on its prospective downtown office has been delayed until Feb. 21.
PETA spokesman Dan Mathews said Friday that the animal-rights organization has received ``a slew'' of resumes and offers to volunteer from Hampton Roads since the pending move was announced in early January.
Mathews said the organization has many departments, and that people arte seeking in positions in areas ranging from undercover investigation to marketing. by CNB
