Isabel Lampa Ambulo, 43, of the 5200 block of Middlesborough Court, died Feb. 1, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Ambulo, a registered nurse, worked for Sentara Norfolk General. She was a native of Zamboanga City, Philippines. She was a member of Catholic Church of St. Mark.
Survivors include her husband, Jessie Ambulo; three sons, Jessie Jr., Jonathan and Jeremy, all of Virginia Beach; her mother, Purisima Lampa of Zamboanga; two sisters, Perla and her husband, Elmer Abarico, of Missouri, Angela and her husband, Jun Baes, of Zamboanga; two brothers, Wilfredo Lampa and his wife, Dolly, of New Jersey, Alfredo Lampa and his wife, Jinn, of Zamboanga; nieces and nephews, Melisa and Emily Lampa, Jun Abarico, Kim, Kaiser, and Kate Baes, Girlie, Olive, Jade Lampa and April Lampa Hinola; and a cousin, Jeorge Lim of New York City.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in Catholic Church of St. Mark by Father Daniel Klem. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. There will be a Christian Wake Service held at the church at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with a procession to the cemetery to follow.
