CECIL A. BELL SR.

Cecil Augustus ``Buster'' Bell Sr., of the 900 block of Bells Mills Road, died Jan. 30, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Bell, an office administrator, worked for the Naval Air Station. He was a native of Norfolk County and a member of Lee's Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Daisy Smith of Alexander, Va., Charlotte W. Brewer of Stone Mountain, Ga., Mrs. Sharon A. James of Suffolk; a son, George H. Bell Sr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Mary Johnson of Norfolk; a brother, the Honorable Judge Howard E. Bell of New York City; 27 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Lee's Chapel A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Horace Cross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. The family will assemble at the residence at noon. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is in charge.
