Nonie Estelle Bailey Spann, 85, died Feb. 1, 1996, in Greensboro, Ga.
Mrs. Spann was born in Lynnhaven, Va. and worked for The Virginian-Pilot and The Ledger-Star for 46 years before her retirement in 1975.
Survivors include a son, William C. Spann III of Conyers, Ga.; two nephews, John Spence of North Carolina, Bailey Spence of Maryland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, 1996 in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Francis E. Collins. There will be a visitation Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel.
