Mildred B. Bowers, 60, of the 200 block of Dale Drive, died Jan. 28, 1996.
She was born in Portsmouth and was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church, Bowers Hill, Chesapeake.
She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Goss-Wright; one son, Gregory Goss; two sisters, Evelyn Briggs of Portsmouth and Ethel Mae Wallace of Chesapeake; one brother, Albert Goodman of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Little Zion Baptist Church, the Rev. Leonard King presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
