Lillian Russell Tuttle, 89, a native of Gates County, N.C., died Feb. 2, 1996, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Tuttle, the widow of William T. Tuttle Sr., was a retired bookkeeper at Leggetts Department Store. She was a charter member of United Congregational Christian Church and a member of Miriam Chapter (NU)97 O.E.S.
Survivors include a son, William T. Tuttle Jr. of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, William Steve Tuttle, Jane T. Horton and John C. Tuttle; and six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jeffrey, Matt, John, Heather, and Megan.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in United Congregational Christian Church by Dr. William Simmons. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home and at other times at 1445 Pine Grove Lane, Chesapeake.
