JOHN D. FATJO

John Daniel Fatjo, 42, of the 1400 block of Deep Creek Blvd., died Feb. 1, 1996, at his residence.

Mr. Fatjo was born in Queens, N.Y., and was the son of Ney John and Josephine Mary DeJesus Fatjo of Miami. He was a Vietnam veteran and was on active reserve as a master chief with the Navy Seal Reserves, Naval Special Warfare Group (NU)2. He was also employed with the Nash Finch Company in Chesapeake.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Adam John Fatjo of Chesapeake and Casey Adam Fatjo of Virginia Beach; a sister, Gayle Balas of Miami; two brothers, Steve Fatjo of Tampa and Vince Fatjo of Miami; along with nine nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. today
