Margaret ``Peggy'' C. Walsh, 77, died Feb. 1, 1996, in her residence.
She had been a Virginia Beach resident since 1959. She was a native of Boston, Mass., and the widow of Paul R. Walsh Sr. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and she was an active member of Elizabeth River Womens Club. Mrs. Paul R. Walsh was a graduate of Boston Teachers College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Walsh Sr. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul R. and Sandy Walsh, Robert J. and Donna Walsh and David K. Walsh; five grandchildren, Robert J. Walsh Jr. Paul R. Walsh III, Tammy Ann Wallace, Paul D. Walsh and Katherine Mary Walsh; two great-grandchildren, Paul R. Walsh IV and Andrew Wallace.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Father Anslem Ober O.S.B. in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, 1457 Independence Blvd., today from 4 to 6 p.m.
