Mary Lester, of the 900 block of Washington Ave., died Feb. 1, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lester was born in Hope County, N.C., and was the widow of Arthur Lester.
Survivors include her mother, Mazie Hargrove McLaurin; a brother, James McLaurin Sr. of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Moses officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence on the day of the service.
