Virginia P. Anderson, of the East Lynne section of Norfolk, died Feb. 3, 1996, in her residence.
She was a native of Newport News, Va., and was the widow of (Ret.) Capt. Guy J. Anderson of the U.S. Navy. She was a member of Azalea Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail A. Fykes of Salisbury, Md., Kay A. Evans of Virginia Beach; son, Gary C. Anderson of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Azalea Baptist Church. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
