Leonard M. Kraditor, died Feb. 2, 1996, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va., after a courageous life.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to owning his own business, Len was vice-president of operations for Virginia Speciality Stores, parent company of LaVogue of Tidewater and Added Dimensions.
He served as chairman of the Peninsula Retail Merchants Association and was active in local politics.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Carole Kraditor; daughter, Dawn K. Waters; son Kevin R. Kraditor; son-in-law, Garland Bruce Waters Jr.; and a grandson, Reid G. Waters.
Arrangements will be private. Friends are invited to join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the residence to celebrate his life.
