FANNIE V. ALLMAN

Fannie Viola Allman, 75, of 5 Warren Drive, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996, in Suffolk.

She was a native of Dayton, Ohio, and was a retired clerk with Smith & Welton, Mid City after 25 years. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James W. Allman; three daughters, Judy Eanes of Piedmont, S.C., Linda West and husband, Larry of Richmond, Va., Trennie Grubbs and husband Charles of Suffolk; two sons, John W. Allman and wife, Linda of Portsmouth and David Allman and wife Kathy of Portsmouth; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Alexander Baptist Church by the Rev. Alan G. Moor. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
