On East Ocean View Avenue in Norfolk on Saturday, traffic creeped
along over ice-and-snow-covered streets.
Katie Lekie, 5, a kindergartner at Bayview Elementary School,
couldn't wait to try out her makeshift sled on 9th Street in the
Ocean View section of Norfolk on Saturday. The box didn't exactly
allow for smooth sailing, and it quickly fell apart, but Katie had a
good time, anyway.
